Get ready for the ultimate NBA 2K experience at the 5th Annual Juneteenth Golf Classic! In celebration of Juneteenth and to support the Top 10 eGaming Program at Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU), we’re hosting an exciting Single Elimination NBA 2K Tournament, where the best players will compete for the $1,000 grand prize!
How it Works
Registration
Players can sign up for the tournament online via our event registration page. All participants must pay a $40 registration fee.
Tournament Format
This is a single-elimination bracket. Players will compete head-to-head in NBA 2K until only one remains—our champion!
Semi-Finals & Finals
The semi-finals and finals will take place on-site at the 5th Annual Juneteenth Golf Classic, where the atmosphere will be electric, and the competition fierce!
Game Settings
NBA 2K Tournament settings will be defined for fairness.

Fair Play: All players must respect each other and adhere to the official tournament rules. Any inappropriate behavior, unsportsmanlike conduct, or cheating will result in disqualification.

Game Settings:

Time Limit: 5-minute quarters

Difficulty: All matches will be played on Pro difficulty.

Teams: All teams are allowed. However, players are prohibited from making alterations to rosters, player behaviors other than selecting their starters.

Controller: Players are responsible for bringing their own controller. Controllers will not be provided.

Seeding: Players will be seeded randomly for the initial rounds.
​
Disconnections: If a match is disconnected due to internet failure, the match will be restarted from the point of disconnect.
