Greenwood GOLF League Announces Michael Haselrig as Comeback Player of the Year

We are thrilled to announce that Michael Haselrig, founder of the JAMZ Golf Tour, has been named the Greenwood GOLF League Comeback Player of the Year! Known affectionately as "Commish" by his peers, Michael has been at the helm of JAMZ Golf Tour for nearly 20 years, organizing weekly golf outings, golf trips, and Tour Championships. His unwavering dedication to growing the sport and creating opportunities for golfers of all skill levels has made him a beloved figure in the golfing community.

Earlier this summer, Michael faced a serious health scare while on the golf course that sidelined him for several weeks. During this period, he struggled with limited strength and balance, even spending a few days in the hospital. But in true Commish fashion, he refused to let that keep him down for long. After a period of recovery, Michael has made an inspiring return to the game he loves—GOLF. Today, he's back on the course with no restrictions, playing with the same passion and endurance that have defined his career.

Michael’s resilience and determination are what make him so deserving of this recognition. His story is a reminder of the power of perseverance, and his return to the game is a testament to his love for golf and his commitment to the JAMZ community.

Join us in celebrating Michael "Commish" Haselrig, our 2025 Comeback Player of the Year! Together, we're better—and stronger.
